Self Hypnosis for Public Speaking

Using Self Hypnosis
for Public Speaking

If you have completed the free self hypnosis course, you probably already have a good idea of how to use self hypnosis to help with public speaking nerves.

NEW!

The anchoring exercise is extremely effective for this - this is why we have used a version of it on the Self Confidence Trainer

Unconscious Preparation

The best thing about using self hypnosis for public speaking is that you can prepare yourself emotionally to perform well. Through self hypnosis your unconscious mind will learn that the public speaking situation is not one to be feared.

A good way to go about it is, once you are really relaxed, imagine seeing yourself on stage performing as you would want to. Include details such as your hand gestures, body posture, facial expression, audience reaction etc.

As your unconscious mind does not distinguish between reality and imagination, doing this sort of exercise will give you the feeling that you have been there before when the real event arrives.

Once you have enjoyed 'watching' this for a while, and can do so whilst completely relaxed, imagine 'floating' into yourself on stage and notice how it feels to be so relaxed whilst speaking in public.

Although self hypnosis takes a little while to learn, this is one of the reasons that it is so worthwhile!
